A drawing built up from several layers of calquepaper, made with oil pastels, chalk, paint and pencil. The drawing shows a turbulent sea, a tall wave that has just risen up, the crest of the wave is overturning. The wave is drawn from a low perspective; the viewer can just see the underside of the curling of the crest, suggesting the wave is about to come down on the viewer. Inside the wave sharks are visible, waiting under the surface.
