A variety of wild flowers, plants and insects, are drawn on paper with rough lines of oil pastel and pencil. The landscape is drawn from a low perspective, looking up from the soil at the plants, the hills behind them, the sky.
The flowers are of the late-summer kind, at the height of their blooming time, the colourful petals wide open, bees swarming the stamen. In the distance, empty fields are visible. Dark clouds are gathering in the sky as if a summer storm is about to break loose and end this moment.
