A variety of wild flowers, plants and insects, are drawn on paper with rough lines of oil pastel and pencil. The perspective is low, almost from the soil.
The flowers are of the late-summer kind, at the height of their blooming time, the colourful petals wide open, bees swarming the stamen. In the distance, empty fields are visible. Dark clouds are gathering over the hills, as if a summer storm is about to break loose and end this moment.
